Cursor
Agentic code editor, now sold inside The X Subscription.
What is Cursor?
Cursor is an AI-first code editor with an in-editor agent, a CLI, cloud agents and automations, and AI code review (Bugbot). Since October 12, 2026 new customers buy it as part of The X Subscription, which bundles Cursor with Grok and X Premium and shares one weekly usage pool across Cursor and Grok.

Best for
- Developers who want a full agentic editor plus cloud agents in one place
- People who already pay for X Premium or SuperGrok (one bill covers all three)
- Teams that want AI code review (Bugbot) alongside the editor
Limits & gotchas
- Third-party models (Claude, GPT, Gemini) are not in the included pool; on Premium and above they are billed at API list price from prepaid credit, and Plus/Free can't use them
- Usage pool is shared with Grok and refreshes weekly, so heavy Grok chat use reduces coding headroom
- Existing subscribers on legacy plans (Pro $20, Pro+ $60, Ultra $200) can keep them, which makes plan comparisons confusing
